The brief
To analyse the landscape deterioration and existing circulation flows and problems in order to define a strategy for a phased landscape restoration of an existing hotel complex.

The design
A strong landscape theme was adopted to help user orientation and the individual hotel blocks were given colour and texture identities for easy recognition. The exising landscape elements were reduced and a central urban beach was made from the redundant lake creating a new attraction and focus for the gardens.
