Project
Playa Andaluza Resort, Estepona, Málaga, Spain.
Client
Marriott Vacation Club International, Spain – MVCI España
The brief
To design the gardens and communal areas of the luxury time share apartments
respecting tight commercial programmes and environmental constraints.
The design
The design concept is based around a sequence named 'landlines' created to
avoid the often seen 'palm scattering' in coastal projects. It creates rooms
of landscape types that are seen in natural sequences and that embrace the
building fingers providing a simple orientation for the hotel client.
